The Root Cause of the Calamities upon the Muslim Ummah
 

The people of the world are now witnessing yet another barbaric attack on innocent Muslim people. The governments of the USA and UK seem to have great pride and enjoyment in the mass spilling of Muslim blood. It should be remembered that it is not only Iraqi Muslims who are being killed at this time but Muslims are also being attacked, imprisoned, tortured and killed throughout the world including Palestine, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Burma, China and Chechnya. It should be clear that this is not an oppression directed by non-Muslims in general but rather it is directed by a determined section of disbelievers who have a deep hatred of Islam and a long burning desire to see harm inflicted on true Muslims. Allah (swt) gave us the warning clearly in the ayah “And they will never stop fighting you until they turn you back from your deen if they can. And whosoever of you turns back from his deen and dies as a disbeliver then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the hereafter and they will be dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever.” (al Baqarah 2:217)

The root of all calamities falling on the Muslims is the abandonment of the Islamic belief and way of life and the unity and mutual protection based upon that, Allah (swt) says “The disbelievers are awliyaa’ [protectors and allies] of one another and unless you do this there will be calamities on the earth and great corruption” (al Anfaal 8:74) This ayah makes clear that when the Muslims neglect this duty of unity upon belief and its practical application then the world will be full of oppression and calamities, thus not only the Muslims suffer but the whole of mankind. And this is supported by the ayah “And We sent you not but as a mercy to the a’lameen [all worlds/creatures]” (al Anbiyaa’ 21:107)

The United Nations and International Law is not the solution to conflicts in world affairs
Turning to the institutions of kufr for political solutions to widespread oppression is going to fail, it is prohibited and success will not be granted by Allah, Allah (swt) says “Let not the believers take the disbelievers as awliyaa’ [supporters and allies] instead of the belivers and whoever does that will never be helped by Allah in any way….” (aali I’mraan 3:28) The ultimate result of supporting the non-Islamic systems and institutions of international governance is the major disbelief, Allah (swt) says “O you who believe! If you obey the disbelievers, they will drive you back on your heels and you will turn back (from islam) to your own loss” (aali I’mraan 3:149) Indeed masses of muslims have been indoctrinated with concepts of disbelief through the existing institutions and their poisonous fruits.

The integration with the enemies of Islam and its horrendous consequences have been warned about in the ayah - “O you who believe! Take not as your Bitaanah [advisors, allies, close friends] those outside your deen since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred as already appeared from their mouths but what their hearts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the signs if you have intelligence” (aali I’mraan 3:118) Indeed for all of the disgusting secularism and grovelling of fake Muslims to the disbelievers, the result has been nothing but humiliation, military onslaught and economic exploitation.

Those who plot against the Islamic Law and Way of Life are bringing their own nightmare in both worlds
The Muslims should not be fooled by the illusion of power of the disbelievers, in fact all their plots will work against them in the next life “Those who disbelieved and hinder from the path of Allah, for them We will add torment to their torment because they used to spread corruption” (an Nahl 16:88) and the plotters will also be trapped by the evil of their own actions just as previous plotters became trapped “Arrogant in the land and plotting evil. But the evil plot encompasses only him who makes it. Then, can they expect anything (else) but the Sunnah of the Peoples of old? So no change will you find in Sunnah of Allah and no turning off will you find in Sunnah of Allah.” (Faatir 35:43) Everything that is happening is part of the Divine Plan of Allah (swt) and so we must believe that and do that which will make us favoured by this plan rather than victims of it, that is, we must reject shirk and submit to shari’ah, Allah (swt) says “Or do they intend a plot ? But those who disbelieve are themselves in a plot” (at Toor 52:42) and “Those before them did also plot: but Allah took their structures from their foundations and the roof fell down on them from above; and the Wrath seized them from directions they did not perceive…” (an Nahl 16:26)

The only source of comprehensive guidance and method to organize the affairs of Humanity at all times
The Muslims must only refer to Divine Revelation for all matters and the only success is in submitting to that path “And We have sent down to you the Book as an explanation of everything, a guidance, a mercy and good news to those who submit” (an Nahl 16:89) From this comprehensive guidance is the command to unify as one body with one belief and one leader, Allah (swt) says “…establish the deen and do not make divisions in it…” (ash Shoora 42:15) and “And hold fast to the rope of Allah all together and do not divide….” (aali I’mraan 3:103)

Conclusion – Success is only with Tawheed and rejecting all Shirk, calling to that and unifying upon that
The Muslim Ummah will only revive when it rejects all shirk, kufr and worships Allah alone by taking Him (swt) as the only Legislator of the system of life, Allah (swt) says “Verily, Allah will never change a condition of a people until they change what is within themselves” (ar Ra’d 13:11) and “The Hukm [Law] is only for Allah” (Yoosuf 12:104) The Ummah must turn back to the basis of Islam and base all actions on that, Allah (swt) says “And Verily, We have sent to every Ummah a messenger (proclaiming) ‘Worship Allah and avoid the Taaghoot” (an Nahl 16:36) This message must be propogated without the distortions of the munafiqeen and corrupt scholars, Allah (swt) says “So call to this and go straight as you have been commanded and do not follow their desires…” (ash Shoora 42:15) The Muslims must develop a full allegiance with each other and not ally with those who make shirk and support it, even if they claim to be Muslims….Allah (swt) says “Verily, your Wali is Allah, His messenger and the believers, those who establish the salah and give the zakah and they bow down. And whosoever takes as awliyaa’ Allah, His messenger and those who have believed then the Party of Allah will be victorious” (al Maai’dah 5:55-56)
